You have so much work ahead of you. Do you have running water there? I would love to plant a garden. I hope you keep us all informed about that. Here in Hawaii it rains almost every day. So you don't have to water plants much. If at all. And it's legal to catch rainwater here. Good luck with your garden.
I am from California. I was born in Redding California. I spent most of my life living in and around Santa Rosa. 49 years living in California. Then I became houseless 3 years ago with no vehicle this time. Because my housemate died. So I was wondering in lake county, Sonoma county, and River side California. And almost froze to death in one night but the people at a Jack in The box let me and two other houseless people. And in the morning they found a Dead guy maybe 50 yards away at the bus stop. He was killed by the cold. So I posted about it on Facebook,my aunt said " get your ass to Hawaii". And so 10 days later I got my SSDI and that day I moved to Hawaii. That was in October about two and a half years ago. And I got off the airplane with nothing but my cellphone and my wallet. I had my carry on stolen at LAX. And so I am in Hawaii and with $200 and didn't know anybody on Big Island. So I was houseless here for 8 months and met some amazing friends. But it got really dangerous here when covid 19 hit. And they shut off all the water everywhere and closed the restrooms and restrooms and even the payphones. So I did shelter life for a couple months and they found me a room to rent and paid my deposit. And after I moved in to the room I still spent about 75% of my nights and days hanging and sleeping outside with my friends. I loved it and I lost about 125 pounds. But then it got really dangerous and my health got really bad from drinking everyday so I have Ben staying at home lately. I can't wait to teach and try hope rocks. But a gout attack is keeping me in bed ATM. And I want to give out Hope totes so bad. Ever since somebody gave me something like it in Riverside. It made me cry. I ant to help the houseless so bad. I know of 5 that have died in the last six months. 3 we're my best friends. So now I only have two good friends that are houseless and one I can't find he won't get a phone. I went through 28 telephones in a year on the streets. I am a sound sleeper . I did break a couple. But most stolen when I sleep. I feel so blessed that I found Hope. And this website. Thanks so much for what you do. I love you brother. Before I moved here I was going to go to Shasta county and I heard a lot of houseless go missing there so I changed my mind. BE SAFE BROTHER 🤗 GIVE GOOD HUGGS
